Basketball Recap: Selma Falls to Keith in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Selma had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 58-53 to the Keith Bears on Friday. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Keith was led to victory by Eric Hall and Anthony Robinson. Hall went 7-for-9 en route to 20 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals, while Robinson shot 50% from the field to rack up 22 points and six boards. That's the most boards Robinson has posted since back in December of 2024. Malkom Jones was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Keith has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Selma will challenge Marbury at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Keith, they will face off against Highland Home at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
