Baseball Recap: Hurley Comes Up Short

Hurley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Dadeville Bearcats, falling 15-2. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 16-1 to the Bearcats when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hurley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Dadeville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Hurley will square off against Walnut Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dadeville, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-4 loss against Early on the 10th.
