South Lake picks up third straight win at home

Recap: South Lake Eagles vs. Olympia Titans

The South Lake Eagles won the last time they faced the Olympia Titans, and things went their way on Thursday too. South Lake took down Olympia 60-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Lake.

Despite the defeat, Olympia saw an underclassman step up: Ava Pazos scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Mary-Kate Louissaint was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 12 rebounds and two blocks.

South Lake pushed their record up to 12-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Olympia, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Lake will square off against The Villages Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Olympia, they will head out on the road to challenge Ocoee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
