Softball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

Eastern fell victim to Greenup County and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 12-0 to the Musketeers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Greenup County, their victory bumped their record up to 21-5.

Looking ahead, Eastern will square off against Meade County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Green Waves' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Greenup County, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Rowan County at 6:00 p.m.
