Volleyball Recap: Westside Renegades vs. Wyoming East Warriors
Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wyoming East Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Thursday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-13.
Leading Wyoming East to victory were Kenzie McGraw and Mack Hatfield. McGraw had five digs and five aces, while Hatfield had eight assists and six aces. That's the most aces Hatfield has posted since back in August.
Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14-1. As for Wyoming East, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-14-3 record this season.
Coincidentally, Westside and Wyoming East will both be playing Liberty the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Renegades will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
