Volleyball Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short at Home Against Bay Springs

Laurel unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Bay Springs Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 16 in a row.

Laurel took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-20.

Coming up, Laurel will take on South Jones at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bay Springs, they will head out to square off against Mize at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
