Baseball Recap: Aucilla Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jefferson County last Tuesday, Aucilla Christian came back down to earth. Aucilla Christian fell 4-1 to the North Florida Christian Eagles on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Aucilla Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for North Florida Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Aucilla Christian and North Florida Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Aucilla Christian will take on St. John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 234 places (376 vs. 142). Meanwhile, North Florida Christian (ranked 302nd) will meet Maclay (ranked 92nd) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
