Volleyball Game Preview: Palmyra Panthers vs. Johnson-Brock Eagles

Palmyra hasn't had much luck against Johnson-Brock recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Eagles. Palmyra will be strutting in after a victory while Johnson-Brock will be coming in after a defeat.

Palmyra not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past Weeping Water 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.

Palmyra never let Weeping Water on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Johnson-Brock challenged Johnson County Central on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Thunderbirds, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-8, 25-14.

Palmyra's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Johnson-Brock, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
