Volleyball Recap: Presentation Takes a Loss

Presentation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-14, 25-7.

Presentation's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, they pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Presentation and St. Ignatius College Preparatory could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Panthers (ranked 491st) will meet Saint Francis (ranked 19th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Ignatius College Preparatory will challenge Archbishop Mitty at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (29 vs. 4).
