Basketball Recap: BigTyme Prep Academy Comes Up Short

BigTyme Prep Academy lost against Tyler back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The BigTyme Prep Academy Bears took a 67-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tyler Lions. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, BigTyme Prep Academy still got an impressive performance from Zion Ibekwe, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Njoroge Nganga, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

BigTyme Prep Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Tyler, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Bishop Lynch the next time they take the court. Tyler will host Bishop Lynch at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, while BigTyme Prep Academy will host them at 8:00 a.m. on Friday.
