Basketball Recap: Taft's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Taft's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They snuck past the Walton Wildcats with a 60-56 win. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Taft moved to 7-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Walton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Taft will square off against Berkshire School at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Walton, they will take on Truman at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. One thing working in Walton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
