Basketball Recap: Bulloch Academy Piles Up the Points Against David Emanuel Academy

A well-balanced attack led Bulloch Academy over David Emanuel Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Gators blew the Eagles out of the water with a 68-26 final score. With the Gators ahead 38-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Bulloch Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JB Roach, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 18 points along with six boards and five assists. Roach has also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 46% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Akiryon Watkins, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Bulloch Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Ethan Fields and Ben Griner certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Fields posted ten points in addition to five boards and four steals, while Griner put up four points and three steals.

Bulloch Academy's record now sits at 3-1. As for David Emanuel Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
