Baseball Game Preview: John Hardin Bulldogs vs. Elizabethtown Panthers

John Hardin hasn't had much luck against Elizabethtown recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

John Hardin is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Bethlehem, falling 10-3.

Nehemiah Isaac made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That run marked the first that he scored this season. Another player making a difference was Bryce Bradshaw, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Elizabethtown fell victim to Meade County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Waves. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Elizabethtown's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for John Hardin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

John Hardin might still be hurting after the 13-2 loss they got from Elizabethtown when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
