Baseball Recap: West Cabarrus Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for West Cabarrus's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Cox Mill Chargers on Friday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wolverines were not able to get on the board.

West Cabarrus is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6. As for Cox Mill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

West Cabarrus wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-3 loss against Central Cabarrus on the 22nd. As for Cox Mill, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Mooresville at 6:30 p.m. Cox Mill's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mooresville has averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
