Basketball Recap: Corning Comes Up Short

Corning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 43-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marmaduke Greyhounds. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Greyhounds earlier this season, when they won 52-47.

Corning's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Marmaduke, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-16.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Cross County the next time they take the court. Marmaduke will host Cross County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Corning will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
