Preview: Fyffe Red Devils vs. Gordon Central Warriors
Having just played yesterday, the Fyffe Red Devils will jump right back in to play the Gordon Central Warriors at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Fyffe has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 69-34 victory over Victory Christian on the road.
Meanwhile, Gordon Central's eight-game losing streak came to an end two weeks ago. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Haralson County and snuck past 40-37. The victory was just what Gordon Central needed coming off of a 62-35 defeat in their prior match.
Fyffe's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Gordon Central, their win ended a 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.
