Auburn faced Montgomery Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Auburn put the hurt on Montgomery Academy with a sharp 4-1 win. Auburn might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by three goals or more this season.

The victory (which was Auburn's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those three matches. As for Montgomery Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Auburn will host St. Anne-Pacelli at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montgomery Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Montgomery Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
