Volleyball Recap: Sioux Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Flandreau on Thursday, Sioux Valley came back down to earth. The Cossacks fell 3-1 to the Deubrook Dolphins on Saturday. The Cossacks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dolphins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Sioux Valley ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 17-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Sioux Valley's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Deubrook, they pushed their record up to 11-14 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Sioux Valley has already played their next match (against Hamlin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Deubrook also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Milbank.
