Eastern came tearing into Saturday's match with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Sheridan Blackhawks by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Josie Odle paced Eastern's offense, picking up 15 kills. Odle got some help from Savannah Smith and her 18 assists. Lauren Hendricks controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Eastern's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Sheridan, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-9.

Eastern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Rossville on the 11th. As for Sheridan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Clinton Central on the 11th.
