Basketball Recap: Stroud Comes Up Short

Stroud lost against Ripley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stroud Tigers took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ripley Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Warriors are ranked 103rd).

Stroud has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Ripley, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Stroud will face off against Meeker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ripley, they will challenge Hennessey at 8:00 p.m. on February 4th.
