Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hermann walked away with it. They came out on top against the Duchesne Pioneers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won four in a row.

Hermann got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kealie Lane out in front who had 23 digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was Brynlee Ash, who had 17 assists and six digs.

Hermann's win bumped their record up to 16-13-2. As for Duchesne, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-10-2.

Hermann wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Fatima on the 1st. Duchesne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
