Volleyball Recap: Shepherd Falls Short of Broadwater in the Playoffs

Shepherd and Broadwater squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Shepherd had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Shepherd's defeat dropped their record down to 21-4-1. As for Broadwater, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-9-2 record this season.

Shepherd does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Broadwater, they will challenge Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
