Basketball Recap: Dillard Comes Up Short

Dillard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 63-3 defeat at the hands of the Blanche Ely Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 539th, while the Tigers are ranked 65th).

Dillard's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Blanche Ely, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

As of now, neither Dillard nor Blanche Ely have any future games scheduled.
