Calvary Christian Academy skates past Chestertown Christian Academy with ease

Calvary Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Chestertown Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 48-12. The victory was just what Calvary Christian Academy needed coming off of a 50-28 loss in their prior game.

Calvary Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrey Hensley (HS) out in front who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hensley (HS) scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Sadie Fournier, who scored 13 points along with four steals.

Calvary Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chestertown Christian Academy, they bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Calvary Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Sts. Peter & Paul at 3:30 p.m. on January 12th. Sts. Peter & Paul will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 131st in Maryland, while Calvary Christian Academy is ranked 37th in Delaware). Chestertown Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holly Grove Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
