Volleyball Recap: Tri-Valley Takes a Loss

Tri-Valley lost against Normal University last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Pioneers. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Presley Shanahan paced Tri-Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Shanahan got some help from Lena Theole and her seven assists.

Tri-Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Normal University, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 27-4.

Tri-Valley has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Mt. Zion on the 11th. As for Normal University, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Morton on the 11th.
