Volleyball Recap: Union Academy Wins Going Away Against Gray Stone Day + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Union Academy and Gray Stone Day had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-21, 25-8.

Union Academy found their leader in sophomore Lily Hammonds, who had 15 digs. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Hammonds.

Union Academy's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Gray Stone Day, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
