Basketball Game Preview: West County Bulldogs vs. Farmington Knights

The West County Bulldogs will take on the Farmington Knights in a tournament on Saturday.

Last Thursday, West County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-49 to Potosi. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Farmington put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Crystal City, posting a 92-39 win. That 53 point margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

West County's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Farmington, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

West County came up short against Farmington in their previous meeting back in December of 2015, falling 64-51. Can West County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
