Recap: St. Peter's Prep Marauders vs. Seton Hall Prep Pirates
The St. Peter's Prep Marauders were the 24-16 winner over the Seton Hall Prep Pirates when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The contest between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with St. Peter's Prep falling 28-14. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seton Hall Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Liam Londergan, who rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown.
St. Peter's Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Seton Hall Prep, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Peter's Prep will challenge St. Augustine Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Augustine Prep will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Seton Hall Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Joseph at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (St. Joseph is ranked 36th, while Seton Hall Prep is ranked 25th).
