South Harrison won the last time they faced Elkins, and Abby Louk did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers on Thursday thanks in part to Louk, who had eight digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 12.1 assists per game.

South Harrison never let Elkins on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-10, 25-18.

South Harrison has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Elkins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Harrison will host Doddridge County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elkins, they will square off against Moorefield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
