Baseball Recap: Gilbert Takes a Loss

Gilbert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Roland-Story Norsemen. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 7-3 to the Norsemen when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gilbert's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Roland-Story, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Norsemen beat Gilbert by a score of 13-3 later that day.
