It was fun while it lasted, but Leake County's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Thursday. They fell just short of the West Lauderdale Knights by a score of 1-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Gators couldn't quite close it out.

Having lost for the first time this season, Leake County fell to 5-1. As for West Lauderdale, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Leake County and Choctaw Central will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Lauderdale has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Leake Central on the 12th.
