J.F. Webb's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Rocky Mount Gryphons 5-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-3 two weeks ago.

J.F. Webb's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Rocky Mount, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.F. Webb will head out to take on Durham School of the Arts at 6:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Rocky Mount, they will venture away from home to challenge D.H. Conley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
