Soccer Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

After flying high against New Hope last Saturday, West Point came back down to earth. The West Point Warriors fell just short of the Brewer Patriots by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Brewer, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Point will head out to challenge Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for Brewer, they will head out on the road to face off against Mae Jemison at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Brewer is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season.
