Softball Recap: Three Straight Home Wins for Indian Valley

While Indian Valley's win against Sandy Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Braves' pitcher stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 2-0 shutout on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won six in a row.

Sarah Myers was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Indian Valley pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sandy Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8-1.
