Softball Recap: Guyer Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Guyer can now relate to. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forney Jackrabbits on Saturday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jackrabbits earlier this season, when they won 5-1.

Guyer's loss dropped their record down to 30-6. As for Forney, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-2-1 record this season.

Guyer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forney, they will square off against Kingwood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Jackrabbits surely won't give up without a fight.
