Wilsonville waltzed into their match on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They beat the Parkrose Broncos by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 90-14. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Broncos are ranked 249th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wilsonville's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.5 points over those games. As for Parkrose, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilsonville will head out to challenge Hillsboro at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Wilsonville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests. As for Parkrose, they will face off against La Salle at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
