The Citrus Hurricanes will take on the Hernando Leopards at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Citrus has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 10.

On Wednesday, Citrus came up short against Anclote and fell 42-31.

Meanwhile, Hernando strolled past Crystal River with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 67-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Leopards.

Hernando's win came from a few key players Citrus will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Michael Brown, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds. Daniel Merizalde was another key player, going 7 for 13 on his way to 17 points and five assists.

Hernando smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive games.

Hernando's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Citrus, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
