When it comes to explaining why Rancho lost, one person who can't be blamed is R'Zha Whittle. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Roston, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Rancho's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Cypress, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
