Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richton). They enjoyed a cozy 44-28 victory over the St. Patrick Fighting Irish on Friday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Fighting Irish recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

B.J. Brown had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 166 yards and three scores while picking up 10.4 yards per carry.

Richton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zabreylan McSwain and Devontaivian Tucker. Richton got some further help from Logan McRee: he picked up two sacks and made five total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Richton's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Patrick, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Richton will look to defend their home field on Friday against South Choctaw Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for St. Patrick, they will head out to challenge Resurrection Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
