Football Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fairfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 49-24 to the Vintage Crushers. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-3.

Despite the loss, Fairfield still got an impressive performance from Tristen Smith, who threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards. Imari Carter helped out on the ground, rushing for 81 yards.

Fairfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Vintage, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Fairfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-14 win against Rodriguez on the 12th. As for Vintage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 36-15 victory against Wood on the 12th.
