Baseball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Concord fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Kennedy on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Kennedy Titans by a score of 2-1. The game marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Concord saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damian Kochaphum, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Kennedy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Concord will be playing in front of their home fans against Salesian College Preparatory at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord is facing Salesian College Preparatory at the right time seeing as Salesian College Preparatory is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Kennedy, they will venture away from home to face off against James Logan at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
