Volleyball Recap: Pekin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pekin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Limestone Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on October 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Khloe Stear, who had 15 digs and three assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times she's played. Lily Driscoll also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Pekin's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Limestone, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 32-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pekin will challenge rival East Peoria at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Limestone is set to face off against their familiar foe Canton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
