Football Recap: Point Pleasant Boro Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Point Pleasant Boro and Manasquan pushed the score to 49-14 the last time they played Manasquan, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Panthers took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Warriors are ranked 99th).

Point Pleasant Boro's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Manasquan, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
