Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Central took on Delta on Monday. The Central Tigers might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Delta Bobcats an easy 69-45 win.

Despite the loss, Central still got an impressive performance from Jamie Dawson-Ide, who posted 22 points. Abbi Davenport was another key player, putting up eight points.

Central now has a losing record at 3-4.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-33 victory against Saxony Lutheran on the 17th. As for Delta, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lift for Life Academy on February 8, 2025.
