Volleyball Recap: Elk Grove Takes a Loss

Elk Grove lost against Rolling Meadows back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Grenadiers fell 2-0 to the Mustangs. The Grenadiers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13.

Elk Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Rolling Meadows, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 9-15.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Elk Grove will challenge rival Buffalo Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rolling Meadows is set to take on their familiar foe Wheeling at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
