Basketball Recap: Islesboro Central Takes a Loss

Islesboro Central lost against Forest Hills back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Islesboro Central Eagles had to suffer through a 71-38 loss at the hands of the Forest Hills Tigers. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Islesboro Central's record now sits at 5-8. As for Forest Hills, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Islesboro Central will challenge Telstar at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Forest Hills, they will face off against North Haven at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering North Haven has lost eight straight at home and Forest Hills six straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
