Soccer Recap: Union County Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Union County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 10-3 to the Clinton Red Devils on Monday. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

With the win, Clinton broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4-1.

Coming up, Union County will host Woodruff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Woodruff their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Clinton, they will head out on the road to square off against Laurens at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
