Volleyball Recap: Don Bosco Cristo Rey Comes Up Short

Don Bosco Cristo Rey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18.

Don Bosco Cristo Rey's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Don Bosco Cristo Rey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against National Cathedral on the 20th. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Chapelgate Christian Academy on the 20th.
