Football Recap: Cross County Starts off Right with Win over Battle Creek

Cross County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Everything went their way against the Battle Creek Braves as they made off with a 35-14 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cougars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska football rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Braves are ranked 22nd).
