Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Antelope Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

While Kennedy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 22-25, 25-22.

Kennedy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Antelope, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy will venture away from home to square off against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Antelope, they will take on River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
